1. Choose a working view
Use the board for an overview or Compact list for a dense queue. Filter by channel and stage, including Ready for collection. Open details for exceptions, then return to the retained queue rather than searching from the beginning.
2. Set thresholds for this device
Open Reminders. Defaults are 15 minutes preparing, 10 minutes awaiting collection and 30 minutes for escalation in a stage. Optional Counter, Kiosk and Delivery overrides inherit the default when empty. Save the settings for the device.
3. Snooze an order that needs more time
Remind in 5 min snoozes the current stage reminder and shows when it returns. A stage change starts a new reminder clock. Processing issues remain visible even when an order’s timer reminder is snoozed.
4. Choose sound deliberately
Reminder sound is off by default and depends on global order sound being unmuted. It is a grouped foreground cue, not a system push notification. Reminders never mark an order Ready, Served or Handed over automatically; staff record what actually happened.
Available features depend on your shop configuration, permissions and supported devices.
