1. Obtain a code for the intended device
An authorized administrator creates a technician code in Kiosk → Devices. Confirm the device before requesting it. The six-digit code requires internet access, expires after ten minutes and has a limited number of attempts. Do not share it publicly.
2. Enter Technician Mode
On the paired kiosk, hold the MaxHesabi logo for five seconds and enter the code. Access is temporary: a session lasts no more than fifteen minutes and locks after inactivity, app backgrounding or restart. Finish the maintenance task while the kiosk is not serving a customer.
3. Use the right control
Inspect health, refresh configuration or open the terminal/printer settings. Local connection details are separate from dashboard-controlled provider assignment, printing policy and shop configuration. Use the visible back control to return to the device list.
4. Finish and return to customers
Use safe diagnostic sharing when support needs evidence; do not add card details, credentials or keys. Recheck the actual device connection and leave Technician Mode. A connection test or isolated payment test is not a complete customer-order check.
Available features depend on your shop configuration, permissions and supported devices.
